Angels’ Paradise Nursery Schools
Our journey began with volunteer-led coaching and free tuition programmes for children from underserved communities. This experience revealed a deeper challenge: many children of school-going age had never been enrolled in school.
In response to this need, MES established Angels’ Paradise Nursery Schools, providing early childhood education to children from marginalised communities.
Today, MES manages a network of eight English-medium nursery schools across Mumbai and its suburbs, providing young learners with a strong foundation for their educational journey.
Crescent English High School & Jr. College
One of the founding aspirations of MES was to establish a school that would provide children with a continuous and meaningful educational journey. After years of perseverance, dedication, and fundraising, this vision became a reality with the establishment of Crescent English High School in Kausa, Mumbra, in 1993.
Beginning with just 45 students in rented premises, the institution has grown into a full-fledged educational institution offering education from Nursery to Junior College. In 2016, the Junior College was introduced, offering Science, Commerce, and Arts streams for students pursuing higher secondary education.
Reflecting MES's commitment to inclusive education, 25% of seats are reserved for students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
Vocational Training Centres
Recognising the need for skill development among school dropouts and underprivileged youth, MES established its first Vocational Training Centre in Dharavi during 2007–08, in collaboration with Jan Shikshan Sansthan, a Government of India initiative.
Building on this success, a second Vocational Training Centre was established at Mumbra in 2008–09, in collaboration with Fr. Agnel Polytechnic, Bandra, and affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Skill, Vocational Education & Training (MSBSVET).
These centres continue to equip young people with practical skills and vocational training, creating pathways to employment and helping them build dignified, independent, and self-reliant careers.
Pre-School Teachers’ Training Institute
Recognising that quality early childhood education begins with well-trained educators, MES launched its Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCEd) programme in 2017–18.
Initially conducted autonomously by MES, the programme was later associated with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in 2019–20. In 2021–22, the programme received affiliation from the Maharashtra State Board of Skill, Vocational Education & Training (MSBSVET).
The programme equips aspiring early childhood educators with professional knowledge, practical skills, and hands-on experience. It also creates opportunities for women and aspiring entrepreneurs to establish and manage their own pre-schools and early learning centres.
Radiant English High School & Jr. College
In response to the growing educational needs of the Mumbra–Kausa community, MES established Radiant English High School & Jr. College in 2020, with the school inaugurated in June 2023. The school has expanded access to quality education for approximately 3,000 additional students, with 25% of seats reserved for students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
Continuing its growth, the institution launched its Junior College in 2024, offering Science and Commerce streams to meet the aspirations of students pursuing higher secondary education.
The school provides a nurturing environment supported by a progressive curriculum that encourages academic excellence, creativity and responsible citizenship.
MES Study Centre
Recognising that many students may not have access to a quiet and suitable environment for study at home, MES established its Study Centre on 8 September 2024.
The Centre provides students with a quiet, comfortable, and resourceful space for focused learning. It encourages better study habits, self-discipline, concentration, and confidence, helping students make the most of their educational opportunities.
