A Humble Beginning: Education for Every Child
Angels’ Paradise Nursery Schools
Our journey began in 1974 with the establishment of Angels' Paradise Nursery Schools, a pioneering initiative dedicated to providing quality early childhood education to children from underserved and slum communities. Built on the belief that every child deserves a level playing field and equal opportunity, the project was created to make quality education affordable and accessible to families who needed it the most.
Aims and Objectives of Nursery School:
- To promote basic education amongst the weaker section of Society.
- To dedicate our services to young minds for their all-round development and to provide a safe, clean and loving environment for them in which they feel loved, valued and wanted so that their first experience on the Education trail is their “BEST EXPERIENCE”.
Currently, MESCO Education Society manages a chain of 8 English-medium Angels' Paradise Nursery Schools across Mumbai and its suburbs. These schools provide a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that prepares children for lifelong academic success.
Since its inception, the initiative has empowered over 15,000 children, with 80–85% successfully progressing to reputed English-medium schools in their respective areas. A testament to its lasting impact is that many former students now enroll their own children in the same nursery schools.
Research shows that the first six years of a child's life are the most critical for intellectual, physical, language, emotional, and social development. Recognizing this, the schools focus on building strong educational foundations during these formative years.
For many families in Mumbai's underserved communities, the rising cost of living makes preschool education unaffordable. Without access to nursery education, children—many of whom are first-generation learners—often struggle to gain admission to quality schools, increasing the risk of future educational disadvantages. Angels' Paradise Nursery Schools bridge this gap by ensuring that every child has the opportunity to begin their educational journey with confidence.
The success of Angels’ Paradise Nursery School can also be seen across generations. Some former students of our nursery schools have returned years later to enroll their own children in the same schools. This is a testament not only to the trust that the programme has built within the community, but also to its enduring contribution to the educational aspirations of successive generations.

Building Academic Excellence
Crescent English High School & Jr. College
Our Philosophy
“To sow the seeds of education in the hearts of our community by establishing a school that provides the best quality education, enriched with value-based education, on a non-commercial basis.”
MESCO Education Society’s Crescent English High School & Junior College was established in 1993 with the vision of providing quality, value-based education and nurturing the inherent talents of young learners. The school began with just 45 nursery students in 8 rented shops in Kausa, Mumbra, District Thane, Maharashtra. Over the years, with the support of dedicated educators, parents, well-wishers and the community, Crescent has grown into one of the reputed educational institutions in the area.
Recognizing the need for a larger and better-equipped learning environment, MESCO Education Society acquired a nearby plot in 1998. Today, the institution has developed into a full-fledged educational establishment offering education from Pre-primary to Secondary School, along with Junior College in Arts, Science and Commerce. The Junior College was introduced in the academic year 2015–16.
As a minority institution and a permanently unaided, Government-recognized school, Crescent is committed to providing quality education to boys and girls from all communities. The school strives to create an environment where academic learning goes hand in hand with moral, social and personal development.
Our Educational Approach
At Crescent, education is based on the principle of Child-Centred Learning. We believe that every child is unique and possesses inherent abilities that need to be identified, encouraged and developed.
Our trained and dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff work towards providing individual attention to students. We have 4 divisions in each class with a maximum of 50 students per division, the school endeavours to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
The classrooms are designed to encourage children to explore, observe, question and learn through experience. Specially equipped learning areas, colourful books and constructive materials help develop curiosity, creativity and good reading habits from an early age.
Students are also encouraged to broaden their learning through field trips, audio-visual resources, PowerPoint presentations, library activities and practical learning experiences.

Value-Based Education
We believe that education and character development go hand in hand. Along with academic excellence, the school places strong emphasis on moral values, ethics, culture and social responsibility.
For Muslim students, Deeniyat forms part of the curriculum, while Moral Science is offered to other students. Through these programmes, students are encouraged to develop respect, compassion, discipline, integrity and a sense of responsibility towards society.
The primary objective is to provide holistic education to boys and girls of all castes and creeds, helping them grow into balanced, confident and responsible individuals.
A Journey of Growth and Achievement
From its humble beginnings with 45 nursery students, Crescent has grown steadily over more than three decades. Since its first SSC/Grade X batch in 2006, the school has maintained a 100% result across 20 batches, with class averages generally ranging between 70% and 75%.
The institution takes pride in its alumni, who have pursued diverse careers and include engineers, doctors and professionals working with leading organizations and multinational companies.
As of the 2025–26 academic year, the school had approximately 1,646 students. The demand for admission continues to be strong, particularly at the Nursery level, where the number of applications received each year is reported to be around four times the number of available seats.
As a minority institution exempt from the Right to Education (RTE) Act provisions applicable to non-minority schools, Crescent nevertheless remains committed to supporting students from Economically Weaker Sections. The school reserves 25% of its seats for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Students, with such admissions supported through scholarships.
We aspire to nurture students who are academically capable, morally grounded and socially responsible. Our aim is to develop well-rounded personalities who exemplify ethical and moral values, are prepared to meet the challenges of the modern world, and have the confidence and vision to contribute positively to society.
At Crescent, we believe that true education extends beyond textbooks and examinations. It is about discovering potential, developing character, encouraging curiosity and preparing young minds to become responsible citizens.

Where Skills Created Opportunities
Vocational Training Centre
MESCO Education Society’s Vocational Training Centre (VTC) was established in 2008 in collaboration with Fr. Agnel Polytechnic, Bandra, with a vision to create new opportunities for youth and women by equipping them with practical, industry-relevant skills for employment, entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
Mumbra-Thane region has a significant number of school dropouts who face challenges in accessing employment opportunities due to a lack of technical skills. Recognizing this need, MES initiated the Vocational Training Centre to provide skill-based education and bring young individuals into the mainstream by enabling them to build sustainable livelihoods.
The centre focuses on imparting technical skills through hands-on training and practical learning experiences that prepare students for the demands of the industry. With a growing shortage of skilled professionals across various sectors, our programmes aim to bridge the gap between the demand and supply of technically trained workers, creating pathways for employment and entrepreneurship.
MES is privileged to collaborate with Fr. Agnel Technical College, which provides valuable support in curriculum development, implementation, recruitment of qualified trainers, and technical guidance to ensure effective delivery of training programmes.
Courses Offered at our Vocational Training Centre:
- Electrician Course
- AC & Refrigeration Course
- Dress Making Course
- MS-CIT Course
We are proud to share that MESCO Education Society’s Vocational Training Centre is affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Vocational Education, ensuring a structured curriculum, qualified teaching staff, external assessments, and Maharashtra State-recognized certification.
Through skill development, MES's Vocational Training Centre continues to empower youth by providing vocational training that enables them to earn a livelihood, become self-reliant and secure employment.
Aim & Objectives
- To equip dropout students with technical skills to improve their employability.

Expanding the Vision
Radiant English High School & Jr. College
Radiant English High School strengthened our educational mission by providing modern, holistic, and value-based education to a growing community. Mumbra/Kausa is a developing town near Thane City in Maharashtra State of India. The area is rapidly growing both in terms of population and residential buildings due to migration of low income group families who cannot afford to pay rising cost of living in Mumbai City. Demand for infrastructural development is increasing day by day to cater the needs of the people who cannot afford to contribute much due to their low incomes.
There are many schools in the area: however, the need for schools providing quality education is glaring. The demand for first level (Nursery Class) admission in our Crescent English High School is so high that, every year we receive applications 4 times more than the number of vacancies.
The area of Kausa Mumbra requires many such educational institutions that provide quality education and can cater to many more students. To fulfil the need/requirement of the area, we establish MES’ Radiant English High School & Jr. College in 2020 which helped us to educate another 3000 children.
PHILOSOPHY:
To sow the seeds of education in the hearts of our community by establishing a School, which will provide the best quality Education balanced with Value Based Education on a Non-commercial basis. The students of the school should be well groomed individuals with all-round developed personalities, exemplifying moral and ethical values, ready to face the challenges of the modern world. They would turn out to be responsible citizens, socially inclined with a vision to bring about a positive change in society.
Aims & Objectives:
- To provide Quality Education at affordable cost.
- To provide value oriented, skill based, & child centered quality education.
- To create an atmosphere of affection, respect & appreciation, conducive to the all round development of the students.
- To equip the students with firm belief, sound character, good habits, fine skills & high competence.
- To help, guide & enable bright & talented pupils to become competent enough to seek admission in premier professional institutions of science & technology.
- To enable an average student to attain a maximum level of learning so that he is able to face the problems of life with courage, confidence & dignity.
- To provide vocational guidance & counseling to students all along and especially at the final stage of schooling.
