ABOUT THE SCHOOL
MESCO EDUCATION SOCIETY’S CRESCENT ENGLISH HIGH SCHOOL was founded in the year 1993. Ours is a Minority Institution and Permanently unaided Government Recognized School with Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary Section; Junior College (Arts, Science & Commerce) started from the Academic year 2015-16.
In our School, we endeavor to offer quality education with the support of trained and dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff. Our Teacher Student ratio is 1:20 per division (maximum 50 students per division), so that each child is receive individual attention.
Our system of education is based on Child Centered Learning.
Specially equipped areas in our classrooms provide our children with opportunities to build, explore and manipulate with concrete and constructive materials with big colourful books to inculcate good reading habits.
Students are provided with an environment that stimulates them to ask questions, to listen and to observe through activities like field trips, use of audio visual room and Power Point presentation, special periods are allotted to develop their spoken language through Linguaphone. Besides, they are exposed to various books in the Library, which enhances their reading skills and vocabulary. Regular practical periods are held in the Science Lab where the students get a first hand experience to do and learn. As Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become the need of an hour, students are trained in Computers with both Practical and Theory.
As we believe that Education and Spirituality go hand in hand, we inculcated Deeniyat as part of our curriculum so that our students are enriched with Moral Values and Culture which will make them a perfect/balance individual. The Primary purpose of our school is to provide a good all round education to boys and girls of all castes and creeds.
