 SCHOOL ACHIEVEMENTS

 

2019 - 2020

·   Thane District School Sports Association (TDSSA) Inter School Karate Championship was held at St. Paul School, Ulhasnagar, 85 students of 18 different schools participated. MESCO Crescent English High School bagged the 1^st position. 3 students received Gold Medals, 3 students received Silver Medal and 4 students got participation certificates.

·    2 girls and 4 boys of our school participated in the Table Tennis Tournament held at Vasant Vihar School organised by Thane District Schools Sports Association.  Ms. Arfi Humdulay Abbas (Std.IX ) got 2^nd place and received Silver Medal in singles event. In doubles event under 16 category Ms. Arfi Humdulay Abbas and Ms. Ansari Fiza Feroz of Std. IX won the match and received Gold Medal and certificates. All the 4 boys received participation certificate.

·     2 students of our school participated in the National Level Karate Championship (Swabhiman Bharat Cup) at Mulund. Ms. Mohd. Kaif received Gold Medal in (Kunite Fight) and Silver Medal in (Technical fight). Ms.Rida Rehan got Bronze Medals in (Kunite and Technical fight).

·     70 students participated in the Inter Collegiate Competition at Dombivli SIA College. Ms. Zeba Tamanker received 2^nd position in the Mehndi Competition.

·    *Lions Club, Thane had organised Elocution, Drawing and Project Making Competition at NKT College, Thane. Students of Primary and Secondary participated in the Competition. Out of the 84 schools MES Crescent received the 1^st prize for the Science Project. Ms. Iqra Sarfaraz (Std. VIII) and Ms. Rida Farooque (Std.VIII) were awarded with a trophy and certificate for their project “Art – Robot”. All the other students received participation certificates. It was a good exposure for the students.

·    * Under 19 boys and girls of Secondary Section participated in the Volley Ball Tournament organised by District Sports Organization held at Peoples Education School, Thane. Under 19 girls won the 3^rd position and under 19 boys won the 4^th position in the Volley Ball Tournament.

·    2 students from Std. XI participated in the under 19 boys DSO Chess Competition at NKT College. They played 5 rounds and Usmani Zaibi stood at 8^th position and Shaikh Nabil stood at the 20^th position among the 108 participants of different schools.

·    Under 19 girls Karate Competition was held at New Horizon Scholar School organised by DSO. Ms. Lasne Fiza Moinuddin of Std. XII participated and stood 2^nd She received a silver medal and a certificate.

·     Maharashtra KAN-SHIN-KAI Open State Karate and Bu-jutsu Championship 2019 organized by Tanveer Academy of Martial Arts. 15 schools all over Thane and Mumbra participated in the tournament. Our school received the 1^st prize. Ms. Rida Khan (Std.II) received Gold medal, Ms. Shaikh Fazilat (Std. III) received silver medal and Ms. Bhat Haniya received Bronze medal.

 

2018 - 2019

 

·     Alhamdullillah – The 13^th batch appeared in SSC Examination held in March, 2019 achieved 100% results with highest score of 94.40%. 37 students secured distinction, 25 students secured I Class and only 2 students in pass class with a class average percentage of 77.32%.

·    Every year our students appear for the Maharashtra Talent Search Examination (MTS). This year results have made up proud.  (1) 31 students of Std. X appeared and cleared the Examination Ms. Ansari Uzma Khalid received the Taluka Prize and Mst. Bamne Azhar Nadeem received the consolation prize. (2) 40 students of Std. IX appeared and all received certificates.  (3) 34 students of Std.VIII appeared and Mst. Ansari Md. Danish received the Taluka Prize & Ms. Ayesha Md. Parvez received consolation prize.

·         In the Government Pre Upper Primary Scholarship Examination of Std. V we have achieved 33% of result against overall 11% results in the state of Maharashtra.

·         In the Government Pre-Secondary School Scholarship Examination of Std. VIII we have achieved 50% of results against overall 13% results in the state of Maharashtra.

·         28 students appeared for the Drawing Intermediate Examination. 12 students secured B-Grade & 16 secured C-Grade.

·         24 students appeared for the Drawing Elementary Examination, 22 scored B-Grade and 2 scored C-Grade.

·         25 students of Std. X registered for the National Talent Search Government Examination. 14 students cleared the examination successfully and received certificates.

·     Out of 8 students from Std. VI  4 students have cleared the Dr.Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanik Examination. Out of 3 students from Std. IX. Ms. Insha Sarfaraz got selected for the practical’s and 2 received certificates.

 

Different subject Competetive Examinations were held under the banner of SCIENCE OLYMPIAD FOUNDATION in which students have received 100% results.

·   116 students appeared in ENGLISH (SCIENCE OLYMPIAD EXAMINATION) out of which 8 received gold medals, 12 silver medals, 10 bronze medals and 2 students have been qualified for second level examination.

·  141 students appeared in the MATHS (SCIENCE OLYMPIAD EXAMINATION) out of which 8 received gold medals, 10 received silver medals, 16 received bronze medal and 3 got selected for state level examination.

·   52 students appeared in the SCIENCE (SCIENCE OLYMPIAD EXAMINATION) out of which 6 receive gold medal, 5 received silver medal, 5 bronze medal and 1 got selected for state level examination.

·    55 students appeared in the GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (SCIENCE OLYMPIAD EXAMINATION) out of which 7 received gold medal, 9 received silver medal and 5 bronze medal.

·   15 students appeared for CYBER (SCIENCE OLYMPIAD EXAMINATION) out of which 2 received gold medal, 2 received silver medal and 2 bronze medal.

·    Maharashtra State English Marathon Competitive were held every year around 120 students from Std.I to IX appeared in this examination and all have cleared successfully. 70 students received merit holder trophies and certificates. 74 students appeared for the state level competition and received certificates.

SCHOOL LEVEL & INTER SCHOOL LEVEL CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

 

·    Mst Shaikh Mohd Rufael Rizwan of Std 1 won the 1^st prize  in the Google 4 Doodle Drawing Context announced by Google India from  among the 20 students selected in group 1. On 14^th November, 2018  Mst Rufael was invited with his parent to Delhi for the award ceremony. He was awarded with 3 trophies i.e. the National Finalist Doodle 4 Google-2018 and Group winners Doodle 4 Google 2018 trophy.

·    205 students appeared for the Navneet Drawing Competition. 4 students received prizes in group A. 3 students from group B and group C received prizes. All the other students received participation certificate.

·     Ms Insha Sarfaraz (Std VIII) was selected for the II level interview test by the Hindustan Times for her Essay Competition. She was asked to introduce herself and explain what inspired her choose the topic and who guided her in writing the Essay. She was also asked to ask questions to the interview panel to check her IQ level. She received certificate for the same.

·   Conserve My Planet, Annual grand Finale was held at Panvel, St. Wilfred School. 21 schools participated in the Finale. Our school received 5 prizes i.e. The School Champion Award, Best Campaigner Award, Green Artist Award, First Runner Up Award in energy saving project. Teacher co-ordinators' were also awarded as school champion teachers.

·   Inter School Junior Essay Writing and Elocution Competition was held at Asadullah school, Kausa. 34 schools participated in the event. Mst. Shaikh Mohammed Husain Javed of std VII B won 2nd prize for his Essay, Hazrat Zubair Ibn-e- Awaam (R.A). He was awarded with 750/- cash, trophy and a certificate.

·    Valerio Volley Ball Tournament was held at Bharat School Ground, Mumbra. 7 students of Junior College participated in the under 18 category. The match was played against Asadullah Junior College and Pauna Junior College. Our school received the 3rd position.  All the students were awarded with Bronze Medals and Certificate.

·   Inter School Science Exhibition was held at Thane. 96 schools participated in the competition. Ms. Zainab Shaikh (Primary Teacher) won 2nd prize for her Teaching Aid "Science Simplified". Ms. Tasneem Barmar (Junior College Teacher) won 1st prize for her project "Trignometric Clock".

·     STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) training sponsored by Ilearnopedia and organized by Mr and Mrs Awaab Fakih was held for students of              Std. V & VIII. The school was awarded with a trophy and certificate for the participation and also entry into the "Golden Book of World Record".

·   Interschool Drama and Poster Competition was held in the school Auditorium by the Thane Municipal Corporation to create awareness among schools the importance of Rubella and Measles Vaccination. 32 schools from Mumbra, Kausa participated in the event. Our school was awarded 2nd prize for the Drama Competition. The school received a trophy and a Certificate for the same. A trophy was also awarded for being the host of the programme and encouraging maximum participation among the students. 

·    Ms. Khan Rida Rehan of Std. I won first prize and Mst. Shaikh Saud of Std. II won third prize at All India Karate Championship held at Madhya Pradesh. 4 Students of MES Crescent participated in the event. Khan Rida received gold medal and a trophy and Mst. Saud Shaikh received bronze medal and a trophy.

 

2017 - 2018

1.   Around 358 students appeared for the All India Talent Examination in Mathematics, Science, English, Cyber & G.K. organised by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). 12 students qualified for the 2^nd level (state level) and received medals and certificates.

2.      English Marathon Examination registered with Maharashtra State for Std. I to VIII had an enrolment of around 48 students. 16 students secured merit holder certificates and trophy and qualified for the 2^nd level test.

3.      Maharashtra State Scholarship Examination – Out of the 19 students who appeared for the examination Ms. Khan Insha Sarfaraz of Std. VIII qualified the Maharashtra State Scholarship Examination by securing 195 rank out of 405 at the state level.

4.      50 students of Std. IX and X appeared for the Rehmani 30 examinations. 4 students qualified for the 2^nd round. Mst. Talha Anas qualified the 3^rd round and got selected for National Defence Academy.

5.      Maharashtra Talent Search (MTS) Examination 60 students of Std. VIII, IX & X appeared. Mst. Azhar Bamne got selected for the 2^nd level interview.

6.      Drawing Elementary & Intermediate Examination 32 students appeared for the Drawing Elementary and 13 students for the Drawing Intermediate. All passed with C grade.

7.      4 boys and 3 girls got selected for state level at Volley Ball Competition held at Thane.

8.      3 students got selected for The Mumbai Divisional Yoga Competition held at Bhiwandi.

9.      18 students of Junior College secured runner up position in the Box Cricket Match held at Bandra.

10. For the last three years the school has been participating in the Inter School CMP Competition. Out of the 19 schools participated our school won 5 awards Best Modal Award, School Championship Award, Green Championship Award, School Campaigner and Best Painting Award. 

 

2016 - 2017

1.    Tennis Volley Ball match was won by under 14 girls (students of Std. V & VI) held at People’s Education Society, Thane.

2.    Yoga Competition was held at Dadaji Khondev Stadium Mst. Abdul Rehman Mapari of Std. VIII and Ms.Firdous Khalid Shaikh of Std. VII were selected for Mumbai Zonal Level.

3.    Inter school Tug of war match was won by under 17 boys and under 17 girls. All received Gold Medals and Certificates.

4.   DSO Sqay Martial Arts Championship (Mumbai Zonal  Level) was held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, for boys and girls. Mst. Aasim Ansari (Std.X) won the Gold Medal and was selected for the state level. Ms.Nadiya Shaikh (Std.x) won the Silver Medal.

At the state level Mst. Aasim Ansari won the 5^th position among the 33 districts.

Sqay State Championship was held at Solapur. Ms.ShaikhMuskan (Std.X) won the Bronze Medal,Ms.HibahBhaktiyar (Std.X) won the Silver Medal.

5.   Reliance Foundation Youth Sports Football Tournament was held at All Saints High School, Bhiwandi. Mst. Kazi Abubakar of Std. X was selected “Man of the Match|.

6.   Mst. Saquib Tamankar (Std.IX) was selected “Man of the Match” at the Football League matches”.

7.   DSO Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament for under 19 boys was held at Mittal Ground. Our school received the Runner Up Trophy.

8.  For the 3^rd consecutive year our school received the best school award at the Annual Convention of Conserve my Planet in collaboration with Schnider India Ltd. Also received 3 other awards..

        1.      Best School Champion Award – Ms.QureishiLaiba (Std VI)

        2.      Best Signature  Campaign Award – Ms.SadiyaShaikh(Std V)

        3.      2^nd Prize for Go Green Project – Mst. MunshiAmaan(Std VI)

9.      Dr.Homi Bhabha BalVaidnyanik Competition –Out of the 8 participants Mst. Bamne Nadeem (Std. IX) was qualified for II level test. 

  10.    Kala Avishkar Drawing Competition was conducted by Sangarsh (NGO).22 students participated in the same. Out of the  2500 participants Ms.Ansari Uzma (Std. IX) won 3^rd Prize with a cash prize of 3000/- and a trophy.  Ms. Shaikh Laiba (Std. IX) and Ms.Shaikh Meenaz (Std.VII) won consolation prizes.

  11.   Mumbra Police Winter Marathon was held where 50 Jr. College students participated. Ms. Sana Khan Shoeb stood at the 4^th position among all the participants in Thane.

  12.   Inter School Dodge Ball Match held for teachers was won by Crescent teachers Ms. Ayesha Wadkar (Sports teacher) and Ms.Nazmeen haikh (Pre-Primary teacher), Ms. Ayesha Wadkar (PE Teacher) also received the Best Dodge Ball Player Award.

  13.   Shaikh Md. Affan Abdul Rehman (Std. III) cleared the 1^stand  2^nd level. He was at the 1730 state rank out of the 5 lakh students appeared.

  14.   Mst. Shaikh Md. Hussain Javed Iqbal (Std.IV) cleared the 1^st and 2^nd level. He was at the 1592 state rank out of the 5 lakh students appeared.

  15.  Ms. Ansari Maryam Parvez (Std.VII) cleared 1^st and 2^nd round. She was at the 349 state rank out of the  4 lakh students appeared.

  16.   Ms. Khan SwalehaMdJunaid (std.VIII) cleared the 1^st and 2^nd round. She was at the 483 State rank out of the 4 lakh students appeared.

  17.   Ansari Maryam Parvez (Std. VII) cleared 1^st and 2^nd level. She was at the 1280 state rank out of the 5.8 lakh students appeared.

  18.   Khan InshaSarfaraz (Std.VII) cleared 1^st and 2^nd level. She was at the 555 state rank out of the 5.8 lakh students appeared.

  19.   BubereZainabMussavir (Std.VIII) cleared the 1^st and level. She was at 806 rank out of the 5.8 lakh  students appeared.

  20.   Ms. Ansari Uzma Khalid (Std.IX) won the 1^st and 2^nd level. She was at the 983 state rank out of the 5.8 lakh students appeared.

 

2015 - 2016

1.      Like every year our school achieved  A Grade Certificate from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education for the 3^rd consecutive year.

2.      Based on the Baseline Evaluation by the Department of Education, our school scored 72% with a B Grade.

3.    For the last three years our students are participating in CONSERVE MY PLANET programme (Interschool competition) organized by SHARP LTD & SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC.  We have   received four awards including THE BEST SCHOOL AWARD among the 10 schools participated.

4.      Mst. Azhar Bamne of Std. VII achieved 33rd Rank at the Urban area out of the 2000 students appeared in the Maharashtra State Scholarship examination.

5.      Maharashtra Talent Search Examination is held every year and our students appear for the same.  This year we received two Taluka prize and one consolation prize.

6.      Volley Ball Tournament was held at Thane.  12 girls and 12 boys under 17 participated and they scored the Second Position.

7.      Yoga Competition was held at Thane.  Our students won the First and Second prize and were selected for the Zonal level.

8.      Football Tournament was held at Mumbra and our team won the Second position

 

2014 - 2015

1.      Olympiad Examination by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) Std. I to Std. X participated in this exam for Cyber, English, Maths and Science subjects. Around 279 students appeared for the exam and every one passed with flying colours. 33 students received Gold Medal while 27 of them received Silver medal and 29 of them managed to receive Bronze medal. We feel proud to announce that 3 of our students i.e. 2 from Std. V and 1 from Std. III were qualified for second level for Maths subject which they cleared with flying colours.

2.      Gulbootey Scholarship : 77 students appeared and passed the examination with wonderful result. Ms. Ayesha Parvez of Std. V scored 84% and Ms. Ansari Fiza of Std. IV scored 80%.

3.      Dr. Homi Bhabha Bal Vaidnyanik Competition : 17 students from Std. VI and Std. IX appeared for this competition and 5 students i.e. 4 from Std. VI and 1 from Std. IX received certificate.

4.      Rehmani 30 Examination: 18 students from Std. X appeared for this exam and Mst. Gazanfar Ali was selected for first phase.

5.      Scholarship Exam : Ms. Khan Insha Sarfaraz scored 236 out of 300 at the Maharashtra State Scholarship Examination  held last year for Std. IV and stood at 23^rd rank in Thane Urban area and was selected for scholarship.

6.      NIE Think & Learn Challenge : School level contest was won by   Ms. Burud Arshi Riyaz of Std. IX and felicitated by Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.

7.     Conserve My Planet : the school received  6 awards, they were Best School Awards, Best Campaigner Award, School Champion Award, Green Artist Award, Energy Saving Award & Best Presentation Award. Ms. Anjumara Syed received a cash prize of Rs.10000/- along with a trophy and certificate. Mr. Javed Khan and Ms. Shaikh Hamida received certificate for Best co-ordinators. The school was also awarded 2^nd Prize for the same by Thane Municipal Corporation.

8.    Girls Islamic organization had conducted Inter School Competitions where school received 3 prize for Drama Competition. 1^st and 2^nd prize for Best out of waste.

9.   Jamaitul Muslimeen 47^th International Competition was held at Mahim where students of Jr. Kg, Std. I and Std. IX won prizes and certificates for Fancy Dress, Poem Recitation and Elocution Competition.

   10.    3 students from Std. VIII to X participated in Sangharsh Shiksha Sangathana –  Elocution Competition and received Rs.1000/- cash as consolation prize.

   11.   Boys under 14 won the runner up trophy in District Sports Organisation for Volley Ball Match.

    12.  Std. VII student  won the lucky draw award & was the winner among Mumbai Schools for Cartoon Drawing Competition organized by Times NIE where she received Rs. 1000/-  cash prize and certificate.

 

2013 - 2014

1.      A GRADE CERTIFICATE : Our school was honoured  with A-Grade  Certificate from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary School for the 2^nd time for fulfilling the following criteria.

1.  A team of highly qualified human resource
2. Best infrastructure
3. Good exposure to the students
4. Co-curricular and Curricular activities
5. Best Alma mate.

2.  Taekwondo – 13 students received participation certificate with yellow belt and 4 students received trophies and certificates for best performance.

 

2011 - 2012

1.      The school received its final and Permanent Index number from the Department of Education Zilla Parishad.

2.      The school was awarded with “A’ grade certificate from Maharashtra State board of Secondary School.

3.      Zonal Level Volley Ball Competition was held at Thane. Boys and Girls of Primary Section participated and they were selected for the District level.

4.      3 students participated at the Inter School swimming Competition at Dyan Deep School, Kalwa. All received Certificates. 

 

2010 - 2011

1.      Zonal level skating competition was held at Thane. 4 students participated and 1 student got selected for the district level.

2.      Zonal level Yogasana  Competition was held at Thane. 4 students participated and 2 students got selected for the District level.

3.      Students of Std. IV to VI participated in Drawing Competition conducted by Bureau of Energy efficiency (BEF), ministry of power, Govt. of India. 2 students received consolation prizes & all were awarded with certificates.

4.      Inter School “Anti Tobacco Drive” Drawing Competition was held at Mumbra. 3 of our Primary students and 2 of our Secondary students received prizes.

 

2009 - 2010

1.      The school won 2^nd prize for the Science Project on Global Warming at the Inter School Science Exhibition organized by TMC.

2.      Sr.Kg. Student received 3^rd prize for drawing competition, Std. IV student won 1^st prize , Std. II student won 2^nd prize for fancy dress and std. X student received consolation prize in G.K. quiz at the Inter School Competition organized by Jamaitul Muslimeen.

 

2008 - 2009

1.      19 students participated in the Naat Competition organized by Raza Masjid Trust. Our Std. V students bagged the 1^st and 2^nd prize at the competition.

2.     Students participated in the various competition organized by Jamaitul Muslimeen, Mahim. 1^st prize for Fancy Dress was won by Nursery student. 1^st prize for Drawing was won by Std. II student. 1^st prize for Quirat recitation was won by Std. V. 1^ST  prize for elocution was won by Std. V student. Consolation prize for Elocution was won by std. VII.

 

2007 - 2008

1.      5 of our Std. VIII students participated in the National Talent Search Examination and all received certificates.

2.      Two of our students won 1^st prize for Fancy Dress and Action Song Competition organized of Jamaitul  Muslimeen, Mahim.

3.      Our Primary students won 1^st prize at the Inter School Science Exhibition organized by Thane Municipal Corporation for the Science Project “Inter linking of Rivers”.

 

2006 - 2007

 

1.     IQRA Foundation had organised Essay Writing Competition on Seerat-un-Nabi’. Two students each from Primary and Secondary participated. One of the secondary section students won the 1^st prize in the senior group and one of the primary students won the 2nd prize.

2.      Jamaitul Muslimeen, Mahim had organized various competitions. Our students participated in the Fancy Dress, Essay Writing and Drawing Competitions. Our students won the 1^st Prizes for Essay Writing and Drawing and 3^rd Prize in Fancy Dress Competition.

3.      Department of Education, Zillah Parishad Thane had organized inter school competition at inter school and zonal level. Our students participated in elocution, patriotic group songs and mono-acting competition. One of our Primary student of Std. V won the 1^st Prize for mono acting at the inter school  as well as zonal level.

4.   In the inter school science exhibition organized by Department of Education, Zilla Parishad Thane. Our School students bagged the first prize at the Zonal Level and second prize at the District level, for the mathematics project on Power Point Presentation.

 

2005 - 2006

1.      Primary & Secondary students participated in the Taek-wondo Competition organized by Navi Mumbai Sports Association and won 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.

2.      Jamaitul Muslimeen had organized various competitions. Our students won 1^st prize in Essay writing and Drawing and 3^rd prize in Fancy Dress Competition.

3.      Maharashtra Dyanpeeth Examination was held for Std. III to IX. The school scored 98.72% in G.K. and 87.43% in Maths.

 

2004 - 2005

1.    Maharashtra Dyanpeeth Examination was held in the school for students of Std. III to IX for General Knowledge and Maths. The school scored an excellent result of 98.25% in G.K. and 84.57% in Maths.

2.      One of the student from Secondary received 1^st prize for Essay Writing Competition organized by Iqra Foundation.

3.      Our Primary student won the 1^st prize in Quiz Competition on “Seeratun Nabi” organized by Iqra Foundation.
